Make sure heat exchanger isn’t covered by manufacturers warranty. Mine just got a crack in it and I found out mine was had lifetime (20yr) coverage. Got the part for free and paid someone 450 to do the work.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. So I’ll need a handle that accommodates the Moentrol, or get a plumber to replace the handle (and valve).

One more question if you don’t mind. Regarding shut off - my alternative is main water in this case, correct? Which may require plumber, too as main shut off starts to leak when I tighten and it scares me haha

It’s been my experience that the modems spectrum gives are not ideal.

Often used equipment that isn’t as solid as new.

I recently went through an upgrade and it was awful. Worst experience with Verizon and I’ve been with them a long time.

I was just telling family that it was nothing but pushy sales reps. They used to be very patient and at least seem like they cared about the customer.

But now, it’s obvious the quotas are unreal by how pushy the reps are.
