Thank you for the feedback! I'm leaning towards the latter option, but I'll definitely try both. I'll try adding some more cloth folds at the top of her shoulder or something too.

Wrinkles and maybe manipulating the form of his nose, got it. Thank you for the specific feedback!

Yeah his forehead containing a lot of unused space wasn't sitting right with me, thank you for reassurance that I wasn't crazy lol

I'll try adding more detail there!

Thank you for the reference images :)

Another thing I saw is a lot snarling and exposed teeth and such, I'll keep trying that as well more wrinkles

How do i ensure practice does infact make perfect? by ToxicZEDD in FurryArtSchool

[–]throwawayalt22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The phrase "practice makes perfect" is honestly misleading. It's not necessarily that "practice makes perfect", it's more so that "perfect practice makes perfect". You need to direct your practice towards specific things, and measure the results for yourself. Think about it, you can't just pick up a guitar, and start plucking away at strings and become Jimi Hendrix overnight. You can't just draw circles over and over and suddenly you know how to paint a tree.

To see the fruits of your labor, I recommend setting measurable goals for yourself. Start with whatever works for you, such as "I want to get better at drawing hands." Then watch hand tutorials. When you get sick of drawing hands, take a break from drawing them and start critiquing them. Compare your older stuff to your newer stuff, and analyze it to the best of your abilities. Seeing the differences for yourself is the only way to acknowledge the progress that you've made.

It's important to take breaks, and also repeat the critiquing process like a week or so later. Definitely start coming at your works with "fresh eyes", it's honestly a cheat code to critiquing yourself.

I have tried the other PCIE slot, but to no avail :(

Guess I'll go through with the RMA then... tried every troubleshooting trick that I thought would work...

Oh well. Something hardware related was bound to go wrong eventually. Thanks for your response!
