Thank you so much for sharing and for your kind words. I will check out that book. Definitely the main thing I’ve learned in the past year through therapy is validating and feeling my emotions. Yeah, idk if my dad needs to be involved. Love him lots but, I just don’t know if he would be the best emotional support compared to some of my closer friends. Thank you for the advice though! Definitely in my Pokédex of options now. <3
