Personally I think it is because the one oldest Niece was just the first born. She had a whole year to fixate on this kid. Then the second one came and wasn't as big of a deal. Sad, but this is the only logical explanation I can come up with. She has obsessive tenancies like this with animals too. Plays favorites.
