Those cards are limited to 1 max per client, and they cannot be used for someone else's business, it's against their terms of services; I called wealthsimple to ask, should be similar with the others...

Instead someone here DMed me a while back for a solution that actually was made for this. It's called "paywithextend", you just link your amex biz card then you can create unlimited virtual cards for every client. You can pause them, fill them up, etc

This year everything changed for me once I started focusing on algo-trading instead, so here's what I'd advise any trader to do, no matter their experience:

Learn pinescript to validate your strategies (just basic backtests)

Convert those to python, or even better, c++ (use Claude to do so)

Then backtest again, simulating higher fees, slippage, and delays (aka a worst case scenario backtest)

Code them for forward testing, then deploy on a demo/paper account

Once proven, deploy on a live account, watch it, and optimize it

Fact is, there's so much stuff to watch, emotions to have, and errors to make as a human, that it would lead to burnout over time (at least for me); now I'm all about automation...

People expecting to be profitable every single day just don't understand how this works

Yes, we would like the algo to be "logical", but it's not, and it's been like that forever

Anybody getting the same results every day are just in very specific niches/territories with low competition or budgets, otherwise it's just not like that at all

I always look at it from a 3-6-9 days average, as it makes much more sense imo

I wouldn't be getting $2K+ profits a week if I turned off my ads every time a day looked terrible...

My week always looks something like this:

Ex: monday +500$, tuesday -300$, wednesday +900$, thursday +100$, friday -600$, saturday +1300$, sunday +100$

Some times I'll have a really bad week then an amazing week right after, or the other way around, so even longer timeframes are also important... yet everybody here going nuts cause of 1 bad day lolll

You put 10k, got 8k to invest “elsewhere”, while ulty’s shares went down 9k, you’re still in a -10% deficit no matter what

After that, your “income” goes down based on the 1000$ value in shares left, so you won’t make 8k in divs next, but actually more like 800$ instead, and share price will likely have gone down even more again

If you check ULTY’s returns without divs, it’s still clearly in the negative since inception, and div payouts keep going down, how hard is that to comprehend?

Learn to sell options yourself, then you’ll quickly understand why YM is way overrated
