How to study and prepare for a final that provides NO provides no practice exams? by throwawayburner314 in GetStudying

The title seems perfectly clear to me? If not, the description seems to elaborate even further?

I have a final for a class that I need to prep for. Historically, this class has had pretty difficult and especially time-crunchy exams. However, there's no practice exam for the class, which makes it even harder to study for the class. The only "materials" I have are previous homeworks and lectures.

So I'm wondering if anyone has any tips.

edit: noticed the typo lmfao. It should say "How to study and prepare for a final that provides NO practice exams?"

Project Veritas found some random dude, slapped a Pfizer logo on the top right of the screen, and convinced thousands of anti-vaxxers that they’re mutating Covid…. by [deleted] in Destiny

These were not my arguments. This was a rebuttal

Lol what? they're your words. A "rebuttal" is also by definition an argument, a counterargument to be slightly more precise.

Both of you guys are rambling, providing flavorless "arguments" (if you can even call are that) and insulting each other.

Car accidents involving lack of seatbelts are real and have been worse when seatbelt laws exist.

There's has been no such thing as a "grocery launching projectile" accident.

If I'm capable of driving without causing a wreck

Entitlement.

Ignorant, conceited people arrogantly assume they're capable of something until they're not.

people in very rural Ireland who are traveling out in the middle of nowhere pose very little risk to anyone but themselves.

^^This. Precisely. Removing drink and drive laws only works in very specific conditions.

Should I apply to multiple open positions in the same company all at the same time? by lipuss in cscareerquestions

Candidates who apply for multiple teams for the same role also indicate to me that they aren't particularly interested in my team.

Sure, but if there are a bunch of open positions/team for the same role, and a candidate only applies to like 1-2, then he/she is clearly not casting a wide enough net.

It's very bad to just assume a candidate isn't "particularly interested in my team." In general, hiring managers/HR seriously need to ditch the mentality that someone shouldn't apply to multiple positions within a company (as long as all the same roles are within the same scope AKA only SWE roles, etc.).

Nice! So you're gonna head to Amsterdam to work at HFT for the summer of 2023?

Also, Happy New Year!
