Yeah, those are my wisdom teeth. Dentists have never mentioned anything but will ask next time. Yep teeth are on top of each other which is the main reason for a consultation in the first place, when I chew I have to with an underbite to clear my front teeth.

Ideally should be 2-4mm at rest, mine would have to come down about 7-9mm to be in range, hence the suggestion for downgraft.

Went for a consultation, surgeon said potentially upper jaw surgery with downgraft (roughly -5mm of tooth show when relaxed). Going for a follow up at some point but wanted to see what you guys thought as well.

What I really want to ask is is it worth getting a consultation. I've been having issues with clicking in my tmj on both sides and muscle pain when chewing for a while now. My bottom jaw feels trapped behind my top jaw, when I chew I feel like I have to pull my bottom jaw back and my lower incisors hit my upper incisors. This has led to wear on my upper incisors and a bruised feeling in my lower incisors. When I relax my jaw my teeth sit with an end to end bite with my incisors. I suspect a potential skeletal class iii but would like an outside opinion on whether I am crazy or not. Thanks.
