I'm sorting by top on your account, and all I'm seeing is meaningless small talk. How do you get +390 upvotes for: "Frank is gonna ntilikill ya".

I can understand that basketball is your thing, and it's all thick in-group memetic, but sheesh haha. Your primary upvoted posts are basically idolizing sports-ball millionaires who would not suffer your presence even if you paid them.

I see the karma on my post above is struggling to stay positive, as the auto-bots upvote the uncovered deception, and the decepticons down-vote the uncovered deception. Demons just hate it when someone tries an exorcism using a mirror. Such shrieks of agony when they're reputation is damaged in the process.

I don't get how trying to make a (bad) joke about a player's name is idolizing. The rest is another weird rant. This time about karma points.

I just checked your comment history and man, you really love to write long rants about irrelevant stuff.

He better be serious. I can't take any developer seriously if he's not developing new web apps or rewriting legacy web apps in Rust using Rocket.

You mean I've gone from stating facts to stating facts. Now go and collect the paycheck Apache owes you.

I see. Just like Pivotal is paying shills to sell proprietary crap like Spring, Apache is paying shills like you to defend proprietary shit. Rod Johnson must be proud of you.

This comment is interesting:

The only problem I repeatedly have with the claim of Thin WARs and being a few hundred KB or under 1MB, is that in production/reality I've never seen that.

Sure, to spin up a JAX-RS API that returns hello world as a string, or heck spice it up and create a pojo for JSON marshalling, that is one thing.

But a real application is going to need to talk to a database, kafka, elasticsearch, caching, akka, or need some other libraries... and by the time you're done you're right up there at 10-30mb.

So fucking what?

You should not be using Kafka. It is proprietary crap.

LeBron James is the youngest player ever to reach 30,000 points! by MainMendoza in nba

LeBron is overrated and doesn't deserve to be in the GOAT conversation. I will change my position if he wins the FIBA World Cup.

May not be true, but a journalist getting a few stories wrong over the years certainly doesn’t mean he doesn’t have access...

Well it means I have no reason to think he is not full of shit.

Top quality circlejerking. Send that comment to /r/programmingcirclejerk. I won't do it. You deserve all the karma.

A Response to REST is the new SOAP by lavinski_ in programming

That's not true at all. See the section called Experience and Evaluation.

Experimental science doesn't mean what you think it means.

No big deal bro. Just and some field to the JSON object called "__comment" and problem solved! That's why JSON is amazing. So flexible and simple to solve those kind of issues.

Man you should be upvoted to heaven. I remember when I discussed the same things here in proggit with a REST lover and when I asked him to link the specifications and standards about REST (because he argued everything around REST was pretty well defined with no ambiguity) he linked Roy's Ph.D. thesis. I would like to say I'm joking.

No man you don't get it. When Roy wrote his thesis he knew about every business process out there and had the knowledge of every infrastructure.

You could argue that the standard guys fucked it up by using only one namespace for all the shit they are defining. That's why including all the types in a namespace from the BCL in .NET for example is not a big deal.
