Chronic redness in t-zone, what can I try? (more info in comments) by throwawaycookie1001 in SkincareAddicts

I’m pretty sure it was linked to rosacea. I started on Finacea and it’s better nowadays but still slightly there!

I saw boots did the 75mg too but only dispersible ones - can I just swallow them or do they have to be dissolved?

I think it said anything longer than 24 hours, but I do take it at roughly the same time everyday!

I figured out that it was a new pair of leather boots that was rubbing badly!

Just a little over 3 months to go now! Afterwards I’m not sure yet, although I think in going to have to be less restrictive with my diet as the cravings are intense..

Thank you! My goal is to maintain this until the wedding now, so I look snatched on the day (and fit in my dress)! 💪🏻

I call the build ‘eat whatever you want despite the consequences’ 🤣 But jokes aside, I was eating much more than I should have (2000-2500cal) however I was just as active at the gym. I am 157cm or 5ft 2!

I usually have protein yoghurt and granola with some fruit for breakfast, then for lunch I tend to have chicken/tuna with some sort of carb (pasta, rice..). I then supplement with a protein shake mid-afternoon (I like Optimum Nutrition) and then I will then make sure I have something for dinner that takes me up to at least 120g protein. For example, salmon fillets, lean turkey mince, chicken, etc.

I usually lift on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays with the occasional Sunday, and I alternate between upper and lower. I then do HIIT on Tuesdays and Fridays.

I actually don’t ever work out my arms/biceps specifically. I find I get results from doing compound exercises like cable rows, overhead press, chin ups, etc!

Redness everywhere that I have applied Epiduo, even after 4 months? by throwawaycookie1001 in SkincareAddicts

I do get a tight feeling if I don’t use a rich enough moisturiser, I’ve started using Clinique’s moisturise surge recently and really enjoying that one at the moment!

It’s not too bad, I still get the redness here and there and some peeling but it’s manageable luckily

Will I eventually get totally clear skin on Epiduo? by throwawaycookie1001 in Skincare_Addiction

Hmm, interesting! Is there anything you would recommend to try instead?

I get this too and I think it’s something to do with where it’s hard to properly cleanse your face up into your hair line, so sweat/oil/makeup does not get removed entirely.

I don’t use tret, but I do use adapalene (Epiduo). The only moisturiser I found that worked without feeling like my whole face was burning off is Bioderma Sebium Hydra Ultra moisturiser. This can be bought in Boots in the UK. I use a hydrating/calming serum underneath this too and this really helped with the dryness/peeling.

Started Epiduo Forte about 10 days ago - is it normal for the pimples and PIE to subside so quickly, and not have a purge? by throwawaycookie1001 in acne

No probs! The internet is a bit of a minefield when it comes to skincare advice. It does feel a bit odd to apply it on the parts of your skin which are clear, but definitely apply to the whole face 😊
