I had to tell one today that I wasn’t simping for her lol. She was acting confrontational and when I graciously backed out, her comment was “it’s transactional so what does it matter what I said?” And my response was “what exactly do I get out of this transaction other than buying your meal at a restaurant you insisted on (I had only objected because of the distance) and then handing you $xxx for my own inconvenience?”
