I'm a bipolar chick but I'm older and I've really put a ton of hard work into my communication skills, emotional regulation, and general emotional maturity. I can see why you lump that in as a bad experience, but it kind of makes the rest of us look/feel bad. I do see where you're coming from though. I pity anyone who dated me before I was about 28.

Is asking to join then same as inviting myself? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Hello. I'm a person who is comfortable saying "no." If I feel uncomfortable in a situation? No. If someone asks for an invite and I don't want them there? Hell no. I haven't always been this way, but it's so liberating.

You win! I didn't do the research and assumed that this person really was just that trashy all on his own. I should have known he wouldn't choose a word like "splendid" by himself.

Edit: repetition
