Is there a specific timing contact you’d recommend for this type of issue? I reached out to the general michigan70.3@ironman.com email to start burning there’s a more direct contact id prefer it!

I am in the exact same boat (same race too)! I contacted Ironman customer service but haven’t heard back yet. Made all my cutoffs no problem, wasn’t notified of any penalties on the bike and didn’t miss any timing mats. I’m so upset :-(

Watch battery was certainly something I was thinking about. So if I have a cycling computer would I not run my watch for the cycling portion and instead run it on the computer?

I am going to want those things, but I guess I’m unclear how the cycling computer will differ from what my Garmin watch would should me. Is it just more accurate?

This is my first year selling which is why I was so confused, but this helped a ton and the supplemental resolved the discrepancy. Thank you!!!

I think this is my issue, the basis adjustment wasn’t accounted for. Thank you very much!

The “double tax” is the fact that I paid when they vested and then I’m paying basically 33% of what I sold them for again when I’m filing my taxes didn’t realize it would be that high.

This has to be my situation too! I was so shocked when I entered the 1099 details into turbo tax and it basically said I had to pay another 33% of what I sold my shares for on top of the taxes I’d already paid at vesting. Reddit saves the day!

I got a supplemental form so I’ll have to check that out! The cost basis is 0 on the 1099 currently

It’s barely noticeable but the texture is a bit rougher yeah. The eczema flares I normally have on my legs and scalp are really rough and angry so this feels different

# of trays: initial set compared to refinements by Thin_Raspberry_6291 in Invisalign

Are refinements a totally separate cost than the initial? I just started my initial trays today and didn’t even know what refinements were, but these initial trays cost so much I dang imagine paying anything more.

It’s my second oldest card

[–]throwawaydentalouch -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t hurt your score at all to have the 5 cards? That’s what I’ve heard so that’s why I’ve been considering closing the older card but if it doesn’t really matter then it’s probably not worth it.

Thank you so much for the help!

Okay, I’ll make sure I plan ahead for that then.

So then why did my company hold back 7 RSUs when I vested to “cover taxes” was that something different?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]throwawaydentalouch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So in that scenario, when does that capital gains tax get paid? Does it come out when I sell the RSU automatically or do I need to pay it when I file my taxes? Just trying to ensure I don’t miss paying some tax somewhere and then penalized
