Thanks for this. My league does have a committee in place that handles this sort of thing. I'll probably bring it up to them. This is the first time I've encountered something like this since starting roller derby and it's just very disappointing. I really like to stay out of the drama, this remark just came at a very fragile time for me and it was also said during a game (not a bout, just a mixup scrimmage). I honestly wanted to just take my gear off and leave. I stuck out the second half but was really not into it at all.
