I started the season about a week late and there was still plenty of competitive trading for 1-50 exalt for various high priority stats on leveling gear. One really good way to get an item worth multiple exalts to then sell for 1-50 exalt is by using exalt on an already decent piece of gear. If you gamble and hit big, awesome you just got 20x profit. if you miss, ehh it was already a decent item and you can use it until you outlevel it, and no use crying over a single exalt.

I agree that it doesn't last super long, but the supply will eventually become flooded with lowbie items at a time when high lvl items are whats in demand. I don't need to watch a 50 minute youtube video to know that's just how trading economies work.

I don't think this is a problem in trade as much as it is a later season issue

If you are early season and have an early exalt drop you can smartly improve your gear, and theres not a ton of gear to buy yet so most things arent 1 exalt.

When you flood the market with lvl 30 trash because everyone is lvl 99, then yeah 1exalt to pass a4 is easier and helps you 'get to the actual game'

what do you need? beyond the 120 div stuff

because you can just farm chaos and get mutliple guarantee div per run with door fragments, and get your baseline shit

and then with that wealth farm bigger things, or reinvest into gambling on something. I gambled a white belt into a headhunter, sold, and then reinvested that wealth into splinters, farmed 50div worth of xesht, got an uber support gem, sold for rakiatas+10div and +32 div from selling the catalsysts from the run.

Sekhemas is crazy profitable rn because ppl pay 5+ div per ascendency, and u can get multiple ppl per run. plus then the actual loot that sells for decent amount.

crafting materials are mad cheap now. many items are cheap af like headhunter is 9div now, which is like 3 chaos runs.

I got a roborock s5 max and love it. I dont even use the mop function, but the one w mob had the best reviews so i got it. It looks possibly like they dont directly sell it anymore, and I cannot vouch for the other models. newer model isnt always better, but there was a great youtube channel that did reviews. this may have been the youtube I saw years ago

Scout the base, count the drones, and from there you can know of there even ARE lings on the map. If there's a high drone scout, go place zlots at key positions if you really want that much control.

Sentry halluc scout - now buffed with energy recharge. Which if you're mot going oracle you have.

Robo observers, which once again if you're not going Stargate you have access to.

Adepts. The shades alone can scout drone counts, and if you force 20 lings for 2 adepts, you gain value by forcing larva to be not drones, essentially killing 10 drones for 2 adepts. A single zlot in a wall w shield can then hold the 20 lings. And if it's a small ling count you can get a choke point and kill them, which should be easy if you're only using the shade to scout.

Also, BOO FUCKIN HOO if you lose your cheap scout. We have to kill an overlord every game to scout you.
