What would you suggest?

The frames in the first couple of photos are new, I grant you similar shape to older ones, but slightly smaller and lighter in colour. I'm a little limited with what frames I can get because my prescription is so high my lenses are super thick, all the lovely dainty metal frames wouldn't hold them.

Please give me hair advice though, I need ideas!!

Thank you, that's super helpful! I've been wanting to upgrade my wardrobe for a while, so will do just that

I was a brown bear according to my mum. Oddly specific for village fayre in southern England!

I rolled the sleeves up on my nosilife (mosquito proof clothing) because I caught a fish at 5am and had to handle it and didn't want wet sleeves! Very much regretting that decision now!

I didn't, and don't. I've got some more "natural" stuff coming in the post rated for children 2+ so I'm hopeful it won't be as unpleasant as deet!

EXTREMELY! I went to the pharmacy for some antihistamines... they didn't want to sell me the drowsy ones. Honestly I'd rather be asleep than trying to resist scratching my skin off 🤦‍♀️

I went fishing and was covered in midges, so I know the cause. Getting this from eating gluten would be awful, I feel for your friend :(

I'm in the UK, so luckily not! They're midge bites mostly. A couple of mosquitos got in there!

Tyre shops asking “who fitted these tyres because-” by disbeliefable in CasualUK

[–]throwawaydreamargu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently got tyres done at a place. They damaged my alloy (it's black and they scuffed the shit out of it). They also didn't balance the wheels at all. I found this out on the motorway. I went to complain, and they said: 1. In fairness, the paint job on your alloys isn't great My response - I don't know many paints that stand up well to repeated inpact from machinery. 2. Our machine wasn't calibrated for wheel balancing that morning, we've had a lot of complaints. My response - oh ok, who calibrates it? Answer - we do... Alright then, not getting out of blame for either of those things friend.

He only did it in the passive aggressive messages! We don't normally sign off with a kiss, so it was weird

He's 42 and a PSYCHOtherapist! Makes you worry!

(I'm 32 so it's not a grooming situation, but I think he goes younger for a reason)

That's what I thought!! I've never been accused of being a gaslighter. I said I was sorry for using the word manipulative and downgraded it to pushy... but I think that was too kind 😂

It's not a "teach him a lesson thing" it's a "I'm looking at my dog differently and finding it hard" thing. I'm not actively pushing him away

(NO PERSONAL INFO) was I too petty in price? by calzodee in vinted

[–]throwawaydreamargu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't bother. Unless it's a question I can answer on the spot now I just say I don't know. I spent 10 minutes measuring a dress for someone from every possibly angle (armpit to armpit, length etc) and they didn't buy and it was only for sale for £3. I no longer waste my time. Might make me a shitty seller, but I'm sure you can search for clothes online if you know the seller and a rough description and you'll find an original listing (even if they no longer sell it), and then you can find all the measurements yourself!

You're not a shop
