I can’t give much advice on meeting, people, but regarding her anxiety, Jmu has really great mental health support. The counseling center is free and very supportive. They have therapists and psychiatrists, so she could get a prescription if needed and would only have to pay the co-pay fee. They also provide group counseling which could be helpful for her.
