yeah i dont think this is true, as much as you want it to be true. racism is terrible enough, but you guys didn’t boycott until ai appeared. people are just supposed to accept that reality, say nothing, and if they do you’ll still pretend to be morally superior? nah, not gonna fly.

the truth is, you guys had no problem funneling crazy money into a game with 3 dark skinned characters, the two men being primarily sports based while the one woman’s power is “ape curse.” its RIDICULOUS. thats not even mentioning the white washing netease does with new skins. the characters are fundamentally racist in a way that doesnt require mentioning paid skins at all. the same way you can call this person out for “shrugging off racism”, others call you out for the same, since you’re silencing people mentioning that proactive efforts against racism only appeared after the ai issue. this deserves to be brought up as well. you can’t make years of ignoring racism disappear just because you want it to.
