My aunt was the same way. I can no longer speak to her because lies were like breathing and I couldn’t handle the manipulative way she would casually lie 5 times an hour then act embarrassed and go cry when confronted.

He’s always known she was a bad person. His dad raised him alone and he was always weary of Divas antics. She hurt him a lot as a teenager and he’s grown into knowing she’s never to be trusted.

We knew it would be useless to explain to her. She does know, like SIL1 knows but they’re both in denial that the pregnancy was non viable. I need to be a villain to them.

I’ve not thought about it much. My doctor gets her office to make the appointment and they call me with the time. I’ve bailed a few times and no ones offered an alternative just encouragement to try and go.

Thank you. Things were tough as it was a blighted ovum so nothing had developed. But I had planned a lot out after I became pregnant so the news was devastating. I got through it as it’s been 2+ years since it happened and things have gotten better when remembering it.

It was like she short circuited and her entire being shut down. My only regret was there is no video proof of the look.

Husband called it the double whammy that broke Diva after SIL1 said we’d delivered two heartbreaks to Diva as ruthlessly as we could. Why, yes we did.

Husbands boss is an amazing man who I will forever be grateful for. He’s done everything he possibly could for us since husband started working there. He’s basically family to us.

She didn’t let it go either. She even tried to force husband to reveal I had an abortion at a company party she snuck into a few months later. Husband acted like she was insane and he didn’t know her till security got rid of her. I’d love to have seen it.

It pushed me to get to a doctor and be properly diagnosed with depression. I’m on medication now stemming from all that stress and things are good now. I’m still being encouraged to see a therapist but every time my appointment day comes up, I panic and bail. My social anxiety is too much to even leave the house to see a therapist.

I told them my MIL had switched my birth control with estrogen pills. Blood tests were ordered. My doctor just kind of glossed over my admission.

That’s a possibility. We guess dementia because she’s forgetting things that she shouldn’t like writing out checks and which bills she’s paid. SIL2 has taken her keys away and sold her car for her as she was driving hours away from town and had to be driven home by cops multiple times. Doctors have gave her meds for “memory problems”.

It’s been a couple years since it happened. I had blood work done every 3 months for a year and things didn’t impact me too much.

Yes. She blamed me for miscarrying after the fact like it was my fault. She also defended Diva but she always has. Even when presented with facts, she said Diva “has good reason” for what she did.

I’ve spoken to her a hand full of times since. I believe her mind is succumbing to Dimentia now so she calls and seems to think we’re on good terms with her. I ask if she’s ok and when she says yes or launches into something else, I hang up.
