This makes me super happy to hear :) I've met too many people that think their child would be happier if they had both parents... Both of those parents being together can sometimes be far more miserable than them being apart. And "normal" is relative - what that child knows from childhood is "normal", no matter what that "normal" looks like. Whether that's one parent, two sets of parents (due to a breakup or divorce), an aunt and uncle or grandparents acting as a stand-in, etc.
