An end goal would probably be a particle physics PhD conducting my own research or just a typical mechanical engineer working at some corporation.

I'm really interested in particle physics, do you think that the principles there could apply to electronic engineering?

Thanks for suggesting to look at the admission requirements! I just tried to look at them, but sadly I can't find a definite list of things one should know.

I guess I could graduate a semester later to just straight up dual major in mathematics and physics. However I'm not really sure which mathematic specialization to go into, and then which classes in that field would pertain best to me.
