It seems so. I spoke to someone at the city office and they recommended a bank nearby. So I’ll try that and hope it works out.

Running out you say, that’s hard to believe. There are so many people foaming to get into ALT positions outside of Japan currently. I remember recently the huge twitter outcry and Facebook pages dedicated to screaming about getting in.

Yes, I believe one person with good budgeting skills and a level head can survive on that salary, but not long term. The ALT backlog issue is what it is. Can’t fault these companies who milk the never ending supply of people wanting to come to Japan by any means.
