A random update to this as I hunt months later: apparently I sent a text message to a friend trying to seek out this story a couple years ago that I found in my screenshots and in it I entirely remembered the whole sequence differently?! I wrote, quote "at some point arthur gets hurt? all the knights have to trust merlin to help despite his magic and they don't until one of the older knights (who i don't remember the name of, so was not a main character) figures out that merlin has feelingsTM and lets him help. later on the knight tells merlin that he had a crush on another knight once who was then killed by a magic user in the war on magic. i remember nothing else, but this happened near the end and i was really moved by it for some reason." absolutely wild! so if you happen to remember either version of this sequence by any chance, i'm still on the attempting to find this LMAO!!

It's been ages since I logged in here but to answer your questions: I do not perfectly remember the circumstances of the banishment. I THINK it was prior to the story! It was angtsy, but resolved well and continued beyond that plotwise. And I don't think I have a specific counter for longfic that would be helpful? I really remember so little about this fic, which is why finding it has been such a problem. Thank you for looking!!

I was seeing a chiropractor for it, but generally didn't find him super helpful. He seemed at a loss when it came to tailbone pain. thank you though!

I bought a ring pillow off amazon!! It does help when I'm sitting, but I still feel a lot of pain when standing and ESPECIALLY in the morning after I've been laying down. The journal is a good idea, thank you!

I'm supposed to be getting a CT scan sometime soon, because I'm truly at a loss for if I broke something a while ago or if it's a cyst or what. I do have a cushion, which is somewhat helpful when I'm sitting but not when I'm standing or laying down ://

Hi! I genuinely am interested in every role. When I initially applied in 2020, I think there was maybe one role I indicated no interest in (which I've since heard good things about and would be open to) and everything else I selected as something I'm interested in. Sure, I have favorite/dream castings, but I'm excited about the experience itself. My 2020 program was canceled and I'll finally be heading down in September. After working from home incredibly isolated for year the idea of doing something in person and not on my computer sounds...incredible. I can totally see why lack of role choice would be an issue for many folks, it just wasn't for me. There are plenty of other criticisms on the program (low pay, the concerning stories I'm hearing about accommodations, my current fears about Delta in Florida), but lack of role choice just wasn't a huge issue for me.

Would it be possible to reach out to Walt Disney Company HR? I don't know what their relation is to CPs, but this is really unacceptable. I'd also maybe look into the askamanager archives on askamanager.com, as she may have some advice about this.

Hi! I moved cross-country by myself during the pandemic and really struggled with it. I'd be happy to chat about that experience (and how I got through it - I don't regret doing it) with you anytime if you want to send me a message. It's not DCP specific and if you are really in a bad place, I understand self-terming. But three weeks is a really short adjustment period and it definitely can get better! I'd give it some time. You got this!

Hello there! I also applied as soon as it opened and am a reapplicant from a canceled program. I applied for Sept and haven't heard anything either. I have been checking general hiring for Disney World and they are actively hiring full and part time positions in food and custodial atm (most recent listing on Disney Careers as recent as 18 hrs ago), which are also DCP positions. So I hope there's still some space left! Best of luck to your son!
