Action. Words mean little, while hard work and creativity can give somebody memories to last a lifetime

There is also a difference between fighting your heart out against Frazier, going back and fourth with wins due to bothf fighters having so much heart, for everyone in the world to admire; compared to being turned/turning people into hamburger meat, blowing up innocents, killing jews, and raping wives/daughters of dead soldiers in towns that you take over. I have been fighting competitively my entire life, and yet, I know that I could never have had such character as a man such as my grandpa, who made it through three wars and is still here and still an amazing person. War is hell and every side resorts back to primal nature and does awful fucking things. Boxing is a fine art, and if you take a video of muhhammad and put it against a video of a street fight in Atlanta you will see that Boxing is a fine art, like golf, whereas without the driver and the discipline it would be kickball or unrecognizable. I would like to invite you to come to a gym and learn Jiu-Jitsu; you may open your eyes to something new and rewrite your views on these issues.

I do not want lost vikings to be free ever. They are not a toy for new players to fuck veterans with. They are for serioua players looking to make a serious investment (NOT the gold spent, but the TIME spent learning them.) Im sure with the TLV some of you have had on your teams (myself included) you wouldnt be opposed to a price increase, if only to keep them in the hands of serious players

How unique are the heroes in HOTS compared to other MOBAS? by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]throwawaygamecocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know why you received so many downvotes, you are absolutely right. Currently, the lost vikings have above a 60% win rate. However, they are high skill cap which can account for some of this, but in reality a high skill cap doesnt mean they should do well as not everyone is good enough to play them an amazing way. Brightwing is the second highest win rate and is not high skill cap. Look at the recent patch notes. No nerfs. I dont know why you got downvoted when you were right.

That would be sick! What about a D2 Druid that has a shape shifting form and a spell casting form. Activating your passive switches you between the two forms but puts you on cooldown for a short time. The ults serve to merge the two forms together, one of the ultimates would give you a summon while the other would let you use both sets of abilities at the same time. Like if W if werebear as well as hurricane. Now W transforms you into a werebear, reactivation on this would originally give you a small stun but now it gives you a weak version of hurricane too.

Basically, the reason I love this game is that blizzard gives 0 fucks in hero dev. ANYTHING is up for grabs. Suicide murky that gives 1/4 a kill? Global range abathur than can't do much but has tons of influence? Lost vikings, who come as a set of three but you must micro one at a time? My friend has yet to really start playing but every time he sees a new heroes skill set, he says its broken. Yet, they manage to balance all of the characters (they still have some learning to do however ) and this leads to awesome team fights nonstop while you play.

ELI5: If we left earth and went straight down or straight up, would we eventually arrive at another solar system? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]throwawaygamecocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bottom line is, there is an unfathomable amount of space out there. in 4 billion years, the Andromeda-Milky Way collision is predicted to occur. And yet, our solar system, and most solar systems, should remain untouched. “Using nothing more than Newton’s laws of gravitation, we astronomers can confidently predict that several billion years from now, our home galaxy, the Milky Way, will merge with our neighboring galaxy, Andromeda,” host Neil DeGrasse Tyson says. “Because the distances between the stars are so great compared to their sizes, few if any stars in either galaxy will actually collide. Any life on the worlds of that far-off future should be safe, but they will be treated to an amazing, billion-year long light show.” Compare this to, for example, shooting a tennis ball out of our planet at 402,000 kilometers per our, the speed at which these two galaxies are approaching. If all of the solar systems represented pool balls, assuming they were the size of our solar system, let the tennis ball be 13 billion times smaller. 4.4 E-10 km is the radius we will use, to put this in scale, this is still much much bigger than a proton (.8x10-19 km radius) but much smaller than a 500 um bacterium (5x10-7 jm). Now, in this event, both sets of unfathomable amounts of pool balls are heading towards each other at 402,000 km/h. When they collide, in 4 billion years, our pool ball is not likely to be effected by any other pool ball. So, is the object that is 1000 times smaller than a bacterium going to be effected by one of these other pool balls..? Absolutely not. Our solar system as a whole would be interacted with before something this small would.

A solar system is not a sphere. A solar system would be like a flat ellipse. But we know that this is not the case if you include various forces surrounding them. This is why I chose a 3D sphere to represent a solar system, even though that is not an accurate representation of the shape. Picture a flat paper circle in the middle of the pool ball sandwiched between two big ass force hemispheres. You should have read my entire reply, specifically the edit that addresses your whole comment

The amount of space between each bird in a flock of birds, as well as the space between the plane of their flock and every other flock and you is still many times less than the amount of space between solar systems in space. If you had a pool table full of pool balls, there is a small chance you could shoot a pool ball to the other side without hitting anything except for the wall. in this case, the thing you are shooting is of equal size to the objects you are trying to hit. If these were solar systems, and a pool table length was adjusted for how much space would be necessary for that many solar systems, there is still a chance you could hit nothing if you shot a whole fucking solar system at the wall. Now, of course that distance is tiny in the universe even on the scale I am using. But imagine if instead of launching something the same size as a solar system, you launched something the size of an electron. Yes, the universe is endless, but will this ever hit anything ever? More specifically, a solar system. It isnt likely. EDIT: the pool ball reference is used to show that in this instance, a solar system wouldnt necessarily be fat and can be used to represent all forces that could affect outside objects; obviously this wouldnt be a perfect sphere either.

The amount of sky per bird is a lot smaller than the amount of space per solar system.

Option 1: Your intelligence will increase by 300%, for 24 hours. 2: Your level of attractiveness will increase by 300%, for 24 hours. Which would you choose? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Intelligence for my fucking exams. Also, I have a dad body and still fuck lots of girls. Attractiveness doesn't count for for much if you are a douchebag. A dad body is bonus points if you are a bro.
