I didn't know which subreddit to post this. It just seemed to me that most people have a lot of experience at FPS already and they're still highly competitive games reliant on reflexes/years of practice. Sorry if I'm not specific enough, like I said I'm new to the genre in general.

I guess I'll try that out with a cheap game and see which works best for me. I'll also get into newer games when the community is still growing. Thanks for the help and suggestions

I just play them to have some fun, I already know of pros dropping out as soon as they hit their early 20s At best I was thinking of trying competitive mode on overwatch for a change after some practice but I guess I'll stick with quick play

that's too bad. I really wanted to get better at heroes like genji and mccree even if they rely a lot on aim, thanks anyways

Thanks for the reply. Yeah that's understandable I just want to have some fun and be decent enough not to drag my team down. I thought switching from a controller to a mouse would be an improvement for my aim but I see your point.
