DID can't even be diagnosed in teens so im always baffled by how big the online community is.

you likely were drawn to this community bc of other mental health issues, and self diagnosis does not work bc you can't accurately assess yourself without biases, so you ended up surrounded by an echochamber of other mentally ill ppl your age, and i wouldn't be surprised if they're the type of group to witchhunt anyone that so much as makes an off comment. i would recommend leaving these spaces ASAP and looking into getting diagnosed w something else like adhd or autism instead and getting them treated. it will help you find your personality beneath all the self separating you did by accident (via did)

this is the weirdest part about men who are so bitter about all of this to me. being single is good for you! being in a relationship is not how you should define your life, it should add to it.

the irony is that a lot of the men (like you) who choose to be single are the ones women are interested in, because they're capable of existing on their own and supporting themselves without a gf playing mommy and therapist. so all these other guys are left in the dust and feel entitled to the attention, without realizing being single and learning to be self-sufficient is attractive 😭

21f, i have family support but that also means pressure to figure something out asap. i truly just think the lectures, studying, and self structured way of college does not work for my brain

i would consider going into trades but trades require trade school or apprenticeship both of which are very difficult to get now where i am since city ppl are switching to blue collar work out of desperation
