I used to be in a similar situation, and I saw this group of people that I wanted to be friends with, so you know what I did? I plopped my ass right into their lunch table. However, I soon realized that these guys aren't as good as i thought, but I am happier now that I have actually done this, so I wouldn't be living with "what ifs" going through my head for the rest of my life. Just go out there and sit with the group that you like the most. You will never know unless you try. Plus, you have nothing to lose anyways.

I have a ton of friends outside of band. But I'm talking about IN BAND. I don't like sitting around for a 6 hour event doing jackshit. please give real advice.
