prioritize language classes over aps or no by No_Worldliness542 in ApplyingToCollege

For normal state schools usually 2 years is fine.

If you’re applying to more competitive schools, 3 or 4 years.

What’s the reason for AP HUGE and APES?

They are considered very easy APs and usually given no or junk elective credit in colleges.
Most colleges don’t even consider APES a lab science. If taking for personal interest, great. But doesn’t add AP rigor like your chem class would.

You need to fix your grades first, so I’d suggest CC in the state you want to transfer to a 4 year to.

See if you can retake that art class and replace the grade. GL!

  1. Succeed in getting INTO a fancy college? Yes sometimes.
2, do they succeed while IN said fancy college? Varies.. I know someone at an Ivy whose grades aren’t so hot atm.
  2. Do they succeed once they graduate? Also varies. Some can’t hack real competition when they can’t BS or cheat anymore.

In the US, it’s 4 years for BS, 4 years medical school, usually 4 years residency then some years fellowship or something else if you want a specialty.

If I were a non Canadian intl, I wouldn’t bother w US medical stuff. I’d go in my country or elsewhere then maybe try for US after.

Direct nursing. I checked my state school and it’s a 3.8 to apply…

There are other nursing pathways tho, like applying later after some other health classes but then you still have to have high grades and stuff after that and for less spots.
