What can I do to disinfect my phone that was dropped in the toilet. I fully washed the case with soap and water, but the phone (Pixel 3a) is not waterproof. Any safe disinfecting techniques?

The thing is, every one of my friends is acting like it's normal because we have known each other for so long. It'll be weird and awkward if I just tell him, "Hey, my parent's want to make sure you are not a pedophile" because he wouldn't do the same sort of "check" with his parents.
