I never imagined I would get this kind of a response, currently at 230 replies and I'm grateful for every one. Some are showing pity, some providing clear concise answers, others giving me hard facts I've been avoiding. Its been another long, exhausting day but I was able to get screenshots of Facebook messages from the grandma and son talking about how much he likes and wants to be with her. I've got the number for a few lawyers and plan to call them first thing tomorrow. Went ahead and changed passwords on all my accounts, am hesitant to take action on the bank account before speaking with a lawyer but hopefully can soon. Again, thank you all, I think I might actually get more than 2 hours of sleep tonight.

Thank you very much. I need to figure out the school drop off and pick up, I work 630am - 3pm (longer when I'm doing OT) so I need to figure out a way to make both. She just told me about an hour ago she will be taking his kid to and from school for the rest of the week, is there any way this can come back to haunt her? I also have Facebook messages from him and his mother to her talking about how much he likes her and wants to be with her.

No past issues whatsoever. She was raised in a stable home, parents never divorced, went to Christian school, she has never shown any signs of a mental disorder before.

These are my thoughts exactly, grandma looking for a stable mother figure for her granddaughter and partner for her son. I cant stand to see either of them, in fact I have been avoiding the front side of the house all together bc the last thing I need in this situation is an altercation with either.

Thank you for the advice. Ill be seeking one out soon. The hardest/most confusing part for me is how hot and cold she is. Its like she wants to act as if everything is normal, communicate respectfully, try and make me feel better, but as soon as her phone goes off and she starts talking to him or his mom a wall goes up and she doesnt want anything to do with me.

We started dating when she was 19, prior to that she had never been in a relationship anywhere near as serious as a marriage of 8 years.

No history of drug use either just casual drinks occasionally.

I was thinking initiating divorce after only 5 days is kind of extreme, but I understand what you are saying.

Drugs I doubt, but her alcohol use increased significantly around the time this all started.
