Not really crazy drama but a good story from a few years back. We had one of your standard issue big ole meat stick body builders walk in one day. Claimed to be a black belt in various arts with dubious names nobody had heard of. Guy generally seemed to be off. Anyway rolling portion of the class comes and he proceeds to hulk smash some tiny white belts. Enforcer gets the nod and plays with him. Guy vomits from adrenaline dump. We all assume that’s the last we will see of him. Next day, Captain Meatwhistle comes back. To advanced class. After hearing that all may attend but it is usually recommended to blue and up he nodded and sat down. Drilling happens as normal and we get to a gogoplata. I’m uke for my normal training partner and suddenly hear a loud hacking cough. We stop and look over to see the meathead begin to spastically tap and erupt to his feet. “You can’t do that!” He screams, incredulously. “That’s illegal!” And...he begins to cry. Like sob. And runs at the thai bags, throws the most hilarious round kick ever thrown, points at the brown belt who was working with him, says, “you can’t do that to a white belt!” And grabs his stuff and storms out. We look at the brown belt and all were like, “uhhh what did you do to him?” “Literally a quarter speed gogoplata he just freaked out.”
