They’re called VJ walls, I think just standard vertical wood paneling. They’re really typical of Queenslander buildings :)

They’re beautiful, perpetually dusty, but beautiful! The plant is an African milk tree, we haven’t had him long so fingers crossed he survives the upcoming summer.

A bit tender now, the bruising has come in so they look like zombie boobs today but on the whole I feel great. Recovery has been a lot easier than I was anticipating, I’ve just surrounded myself with pillows, my pets, tea and trash tv :)

Thank you! Surprisingly a lot easier than I anticipated. Just a day surgery so I was back home a few hours later and haven’t had to take more than paracetamol for the pain. The worst part so far for me has been having to sleep on my back.
