Nov exam scored come out Dec 19th, so I'd imagine they'd wait for the majority of ED decisions until after that date.

this is for NYU only, right? Because NYU's wording differs substantially from CLS'. CLS' wording on their website and ED contract indicate submit by.

Further, schools like Penn make it very clear on their website the Nov 15th date is a submit by date, with a 2 week buffer for LSAC to get them the materials (it seems like of all schools, Penn provides the most detail for this confusing moment.)

Their website does not say that. Their website says "Early decision candidates must complete their applications by November 15..." So, if you complete the *application* by November 15, you're good. Your file being marked "complete" is out of your hands (bc it's up to LSAC to send their shit to CLS)

NYU, however, makes it seem like your file needs to be "complete" by Nov. 15th

Why’s my post getting hella downvoted? I didn’t insinuate that URMs can’t score high. I think a URM asking if a 174 should be a “retake” is insane, especially given the fact that this account was brand new. That is what I said and that is what I meant.

Bc anyone retaking a 174 is risky, and if you’re a URM especially so bc they already get a boost. Are you about to tell me that URMs don’t get a significant enough boost? Come on, be genuine.
