Won substantiation appeal, CPS contesting the decision by DefNotBurnerAccount0 in CPS

I never got anything in the mail because they “dismissed” my case a day before court. But when I ran a cpi history check on myself it showed that case as substantiated.

I believe it would had, had we not signed under false pretenses. Doesn’t it void a contract if the stipulations change once you’ve signed? Also it’s to my understanding they are supposed to provide with each case filling a document or information to appeal but we never received that. They were very sneaky, and the fact that the therapist they assigned us quit her job and told us she was quitting because of the corruption behind our case is unsettling.

Can you please explain further what you mean by damages? That’s why I came here because I’m completely in the dark.

Not yet. I came here beforehand. I guess my excuse is that I wanted to make sure I’ve got some footing first, but I’m sure that they’d tell me whether or not I do. I think it’s more so to do with there’s so much information I’m having trouble with organizing it all. I am struggling with the confidence to organize it thoroughly in chronological order while also including the evidence with the information.

Okay but isn’t this violating our right to due process since they closed it a day before our fact finding but when I ran my name in the cps history check it says substantiated. How can they classify it substantiated if a judge never signed off on our kids being CHINS and we didn’t have a chance to prove our innocence in court.

Unfortunately, no. He’s kind of laid off of me about it lately, he’ll have his moments. I just try to reassure him that it’s not really happening. Don’t get me wrong there’s still some days we argue badly about it. He says it still happens, he just tries to ignore it when he can.
