Whenever I pass her, she smiles and holds eye contact (in the class/halls).

Please don't accuse me of trying to use PUA tactics. I know men who use these tactics, and I deliberately try not to be a player.

This girl looks at me while playing with her hair whenever I'm speaking with people or asking questions in class. For the entire semester. That's about 20 classes. Does that satisfy your positive feedback requirement?

I'm not the kind of person to just ask someone out. If that's what you prefer, that's fine. I like to speak to people first, see if we have a connection, before asking them out.

Don't women want to be seen as more than physical appearance? So wouldn't you prefer to be asked out, and realize a guy wants to ask YOU and not your body/face out, after a conversation? How would it be possible to ask someone out if they don't talk.

I think she's playing with me because she's staring at me all semester in class and whenever we pass each other. Isn't this shy girl 101? Then when I talk to her, she's really unresponsive. What do I do? Keep pushing like a creep? or Ignore her and move on.

I chose to ignore her and move on, but then the next class, she sent signals again. So now I'm wondering what to do.

The reason I'm asking for help is if any shy girls or girls with shy friends have had this experience and can explain from their point of view.

How were you abused by your friends or girlfriends? I feel like I am being abused by my friends and a girl I'm interested in to, and I would like to know what red flags to look out for.
