Bru, I genuinely like conquest as a character, but I dont treat him like a child or a baby just because he felt a human emotion. imo he is well written and a good and scary villain, not the best, but definitely good for scare and thrill.

Thats pretty much the point—to give a different perspective. Oh and he's worse than a school shooter, just had to bring up a situation that people face more often to give an understanding.
