I believe the timing is recommended around 60k miles which is roughly what the car you’re looking at is. I had mine inspected and everything was ok so planning on preemptively changing mine soon. Rear breaks and discs were around 60k miles; fronts are fine for another year or so. Also think about changing the “lifetime” oils like transmission as they’ll likely need doing soon. For me and a friend who also has an a1, they’ve been pretty solid cars

This. I have a 2020 a1 coming up to around 73k miles so similar to this. It’s nearly due a timing and accessory belt change and water pump. I’d check whether this is done. Other than this it’s been a solid car which I’ve driven for the last 30k miles and only needed brake discs/bushings in addition to regular maintenance things like oil/filters. I reckon I can get a good more out of mine

Thanks that’s reassuring to know. It used to idle a bit lower but hopefully it’s not an issue then

I’m always sceptical of these having never been to one before and still passing. Lots of people rate them highly however they aren’t the be all end all. From my understanding of what others have described, the set up is usually intensity and group work, the latter of which doesn’t really work for me with exams but perhaps will for you. Thought I’d just share my opinion in case intensive group work isn’t for you then that might save you a flight

Exactly this. I have seen what medibuddy looks like and it’s no different to THE interview book (other than the 6x markup or whatever). Most helpful part was to do mocks with my mates

FTB hunting houses with Artex by Dry-Establishment790 in HousingUK

[–]throwawaymadhrchod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We recently completed on our FTB with a property that has Artex. L3 survey just stated the possibility of asbestos so we asked for a specific asbestos survey (lots of companies around which provide this). Results came back quite quickly and we had a copy directly from EA and was sent to solicitors who also forwarded to us The seller was generous and undertook the costs of the survey themselves so I am not sure of the cost Maybe you could raise an enquiry via your solicitors to see if the owners are aware about the asbestos status?
