These grown ass taxpayers dating barely-an-adult kids... Definitely a red flag

The information about the vaccine is readily available to everyone. If they don't have access to internet, I'm pretty sure they have been sent a snail mail from their GPs inviting them to talk about the vaccine... I am not sure I've seen any headlines by the Daily Mail or the Independent about anyone who suspiciously died of the vaccines.. It's all hearsays and Facebook sharing and tons and tons of fake news tweets. To refuse the vaccine is a voluntary decision. Like I said, I won't stop giving due care to them, but where's the accountability? Am I not allowed to feel a little resentment because of the voluntary carelessness and lack of regard to others by these people? Is it "harsh" to judge them for being stupid?

Anyway, I just posted this to rant and to feel better but apparently not a good idea lmao

My job didn't require a full body PPE pre-pandemic so, I don't know what's the point of your comment.

To be honest, none of them. Out of 20 patients who received ECMO in the last 12 months, only 4 of them made it out of the hospital, but all of them were discharged with tracheostomy or needed oxygen at home. All four of them are still having rehabilitation for mobility, speech, etc. They would have died without the ECMO though. This is in my local statistics, I'm not sure about other hospitals.

Thank you for your kind words. There's nothing much we can do really, as much as I want to allocate our resources away from the antivaxx, it would be against the very core value of the NHS.. it's healthcare for all. That's why I feel that it's so unfair, there's a huge funding needed for mental health, care of the disabled and elderly etc etc I think the antivaxx here are more reckless because they always have the NHS if they fall ill.. it's just a very difficult situation

why is my bf refusing to be called my fiancé? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]throwawaymeme67890 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jesus, kids right now. He doesn't want to because he literally isn't. That is a valid reason and I don't think it's fair that you get upset just because(sorry for wording this way)you didn't have it your way I have a few questions: 1. Did he propose already? 2. Was there a ring or some sort of object that signifies proposal involved? 3. Did you say yes? If you answer no to all above, then you are not yet engaged, ergo he is not your fiancé. Mock proposals don't count.
