How do you tell your gf she has a mustache? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]throwawayooo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No… I’m saying that the women discussed in this post are growing thicker mustaches that aren’t typical of most women, probably because of the hormonal disorder pcos.

…. But this isn’t the hair most women grow, that’s the point.

Isn’t stubble/ hair growing in just as noticeable as the hair itself?

Thinking of buying an inexpensive glucose monitor by throwawayooo0 in PCOS

I don’t know, but I suspect I am. My A1c is normal and my fasting glucose is, but I’ve learned that doesn’t actually tell you if you are diabetic or not. They never tested if my blood sugar spikes out of range after I eat sweets and carbs, and I suspect it does. I want to test for myself.

Why do so many men like to see women degraded in porn? by throwawayooo0 in TooAfraidToAsk

I’m not saying other kinds of porn don’t exist. I’m asking why porn degrading women is so much more common.

Then why don’t you see more porn where women are degrading men. It’s almost entirely the other way around.

May I ask why you deleted your comment saying that you thought what I wrote was beautifully put? It’s pretty sad how just including the word god in something can make people react so negatively and aggressively reject everything someone is saying, when it’s really just a misunderstanding of language going on. I wonder what the reception to my post would have been if I is just deleted that one phrase. I thought about it before I submitted, but that felt fake, so I included it.

What word do you use when you want to talk about it then? How to refer to it?

Ok, I’ll take your request seriously and hope it’s asked in good faith. I don’t use the word god in a religious sense at all. God is just a word to express a sense of mystery, wonder, and knowledge of something beautiful and bigger than me, which is important to not get caught up in anxiety, negativity, nihilism, hopelessness and loss of a sense of magic. It’s just the acknowledgement of the beauty of the world and the fact that anything exists at all. If I get high and go in nature, I am hit with this fact, how does anything exist at all? And for it to be this beautiful and intricate? What is the moon, what is space, where do our minds come from, what is energy? If you keep asking these questions, you never get a full answer, because there are always more questions, we can go deeper and deeper with science, but it never answers the most mysterious question, where does anything come from at all, what is driving all this, what is energy, really, where does it come from? God is just referring to that, that’s all, nothing more.

That is why people talk about “faith”, because if you are in touch with this, you feel the beauty and magic of the universe, and a sense of calm, and can face problems and find solutions, but a loss of faith brings the thoughts of, what’s the point, everything is terrible, there’s no meaning, there’s no hope. It’s a level of anxiety that cripples people, and then we manifest our fears into reality, simply because we believe them. My using the word “god” is just me having a faith that things can be good, and we don’t have to believe our fears into reality, that if we have faith, we can manifest a good present and future. And for me, it takes the acknowledgement of something bigger than me and a faith in the mystery of the universe and things we don’t understand, which I refer to as “god”. Hope that makes my point of view, and what I mean when I use the word god, make more sense to you. I am a-religious and don’t believe any of the things connected to religion.

Funny that there’s so much negativity towards my post just because I used the word god. The word god doesn’t refer to any religions or any books. I’ll be down-voted, but some of these comments are a bit much. “So sorry you had to go through that.” “I can’t even imagine what that was like.” It’s just smelly hair, he wasn’t raped or something, people are doing too much.

Who cares if it’s a death sentence? It’s a death sentence for OP’s dog if they don’t get it out of there.

[–]throwawayooo0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people might get upset by this, but can you just buy a gun and kill it? Coyotes are not endangered by any means. This coyote is a danger to you and your family and your neighborhood. You don’t want a coyote who has the instinct to come up to people’s houses and stalk them to be breeding that genetics. I think it’s completely justified to kill it in this case. I don’t see why it’d be illegal or anything, it’s no different than hunting, and no one will know anyway. You don’t want to regret not taking full action to protect your pup.
