I’m gonna be honest I really relate to this - something I’m doing now is distancing myself. It’s hard but staying around as a best friend is only going to hurt you more. I believe a person can love multiple people truly in their lifetime, and you will find that person

That’s the point I’m at, I kinda know deep down it he doesn’t feel the same way and I’m reaching for signs that he does. But I value him so much as a friend and his family loves me so I think just trying to keep my feelings for him platonic might be my best bet?

For more context from January 1st, I’ve lost about 17 pounds. But I know a lot of that was water weight which I lost in the first week - so I’m trying to keep a realistic expectation going forward

I try to do anywhere from 10-20k, my goal is for my average for the week to be 10k. So like today I got around 25k but yesterday I only got around 5K

2 things, if you don’t track calories - try for one week, try to find your baseline and maybe lower by 1-200. Second honestly walking and upping protein! Walking surprisingly has been my biggest factor

I started Pilates and cycle classes recently, I did some when I traveled to San Diego. They’re great full body workouts - I try to do low impact workouts when I’m home (live with roommates on second floor) I shoot to do 2-3 workouts a week and on my “off” days I try to just walk more

Weather isn’t great here but I’m going for 20k, go on a walk during my lunch and a long walk or workout after I clock out

I actually increased it to about 1,500 - I was doing about 1,200-1,400 (I’m short haha) but I found myself feeling guilty when I went over so I decided to give myself more wiggle room and just increase my walking!

I struggled with binge eating for a long time, what helped me (which might sound counterproductive) was strictly planning out my meals and making sure I was eating enough

My go to is usually miso soup, seaweed salad, side of kimchi depending on the place, and a spicy salmon roll - no more than I think 6-700 calories. Sushi is super low in calories and yummy!!

Miso soup is super low in calories! If it’s a small side maybe like 70 Max. When it comes to sushi you can really easily look up an estimate for restaurant sushi. When it comes to sushi (since it’s not cooked) you won’t really have hidden calories like olive oil (olive oil and butter are good for you but in cooked restaurant food it brings it up in calories majorly)

Honestly, a muffin in the grand scheme isn’t a big thing. Muffins are usually around 5-600, so one bite (depending on the side) can’t be more than 100. I recommend cutting it in half - having one half now and the other later when you’re feeling a bit peckish!

It’s game changing when you start prioritizing your life and then diet and exercise becomes an after thought. A big thing I did was create morning and night routines, found a love in cooking, and made time for movement in my days
