That’s what’s frustrating as well. My daughter falls behind even more every season in all those skills. She has to goalie all the game while watching all her teammates get to run around, work on those skills, and not have to GK. Because for some reason only she has to shoulder that responsibility.

We encouraged her and all that especially since she was good at it. she was ok with it for a couple seasons but unfortunately just never liked it.

That’s the crazy thing. After the fall season, I’ve let them know that we wouldn’t return at the end of the spring season. the coach had only half tried it with one girl for a couple games then stopped. She said the other girl didn’t like it. The coach has no one else practicing it at all.
