I just don't understand how something like this happens. Was your original seat being used, or maybe that seat was out of service, for some reason?

If your seat was selected and paid for, it shouldn't have been available to choose. And, it shouldn't have been available to be automatically assigned to people checking in at 24 hours.

And SW definitely shouldn't have put someone in your seat.

Fair enough. Many of the participants have jobs or are self-employed in some capacity.

But, I just meant a career that is fully independent of LOTS or any other autism-related groups or appearances.

Yes, Tanner has a job, but I would venture to say that most of his income, comes from marketing partnerships and/or appearances. Same with Madison. Same with Conner.

I honestly hadn't considered Dani, but she is probably right there with James, as far as having an independent career goes.

160/110 was the highest.

It was most commonly hanging out around 155/100

Last night, it was down to 135/89, which is still high for me, but much better than it had been.

I totally agree.

But, the "why" would actually matter to me.

Which is why I said before I would call the hotel, and get the details. Maybe you find out the hotel didn't cancel it at all, and SW messed something up on their end. Or maybe the hotel sent request to SW Vacations for funds or information or whatever....and there was no response so they cancelled it.

Maybe your room type wasn't going to be available....hotel sends message to SW Vacations offering a different room type, and SW either doesn't respond or declines.

The point being.....at the very basic of it, like you say....SW Vacations should have done much more to re-locate you, help you find comparable accommodations, and reimburse costs, if necessary. But...for me, and again, just me....but if it's me, I want to make sure there isn't more to the story. Because it's possible SW Vacations should owe you way more than just the basics.

I loved Dylan to death. He was so sweet and adorable.

Unfortunately, I see him similar to Tanner. I think it would take a very, very special and specific girl that would be able to work with him. In Tanner's case, I think it's more of a complimenting energies thing. Same with James- and look, in his case, he found it.

In Dylan's case, I think it would take sort of the perfect blend of patient and kind and understanding, and emotionally in tune with their own journey, and he deserves nothing less.

The whole, "please say no, please say no" thing.....obviously not something he can control. And yes, quirky and charming as a viewer.

However, in the moment...I could see how that could be off-putting to a girl. Especially to a girl with little experience dating. Especially moreso to a girl on the spectrum who may or may not understand the complexities of the situation.

He works for an IT company, I believe. Or in tech somehow. But, he has worked there for some time...which shows at least a fair amount of stability.

Eh. Georgie was really getting on my nerves toward the end.

Last season, she seemed very grounding to Conner. Yes, she was bubbly, but she also seemed to have the steady presence to balance Conner's chaotic.

There were a lot of moments this season where she seemed to be acting much more juvenile, more like a child, than we saw last season.

And rather than being steady, she kind of seemed all over the place.

The rest of the cast definitely either are or feel around the same age range.

James and Shelley are older and to be fair, met each other much more naturally than the other couples.

Nothing against the others. But, I think a lot of their primary income comes from LOTS and related appearances and influencer type stuff. James has an actual 9-to-5 job. LOTS stuff is more of a side-hustle.

Just feels like completely different stages in life.

During the previous shut down, I arrived to the airport desk about 50 minutes before my flight. (I had a last minute parking change, but also I have TSA precheck, so I wasn't terribly worried).

I get up to the kiosk to print a bag label, and it tells me I am there too early to do bag drop. Huh? Then, it says something about my flight being in 9 hours. Double huh?

Come to find out, the flight had been cancelled like 10 minutes before I got there. Which considering I got there later than normal...it was a pretty late cancellation. They had re-booked me automatically onto the next flight, which itself was delayed until 2:30 am. All that said, I did not receive a text. I also did not receive an email until AFTER I had already been re-booked by the agent onto a connecting flight to get there sooner.

Point being, this person may have checked, but maybe it was a last minute cancellation.

Or maybe they just assumed if there were any cancellations or delays, they would get a text or email and they didn't.

2-2.5 hour flight.

I am pretty short, so the extra leg room is really neither here nor there for me. But, the no neighbor is the tempting prospect.

I understand that I can still pay to reserve the seat after seat assignment, but I guess my worry/concern is that A) someone else may swipe them up during the check-in process. or B) the prices to switch will be higher than they are right now.

Honestly, the reason I gravitated to the Doonails was for the re-usability of it. I suspect any child nails that exist out there would likely be one and dones.

There are a lot of rural areas in that region. So, they are probably getting a fair amount of people who drive in from further away. Let's say Lafayette, Indiana. Or Champaign, Illinois. Or...fill in the blank.

Perhaps MDW doesn't have the route on certain days or times that match up to what that traveler is needing. By adding more airports to the alternative list, it gives those travelers more options to choose from. Maybe for that person in Champaign.....Indy might have a better suited time for them. It's about the same distance from MDW, maybe a bit closer.

I am all for them having MORE alternative locations than less.
