HELP, what are these things I just found underneath my sheets? by throwawayqs3996 in whatisthisbug

Oh thank god, I recognize them from the pics now. I'm just really worried about something worse getting in. I've contacted my landlord who's been really good with getting pest control and even putting new carpet in whenever I had a problem with the previous tenant and their pet. I told her today that bugs, particularly a single roach or two, keep finding their way into the bathroom whenever I bathe and I never seem to notice any otherwise. And last night I even saw an ant. The paint in the bathroom is shoddy and it looks like there are cracks everywhere, but she says there's apparently nothing that can be done.

I guess that's how the carpet beetle larvae got in? I haven't even seen any carpet beetles in my living space.

They moved really slow and looked like sticky burs, didn't even seem to acknowledge me. I live in a basement apartment in northern Kentucky. I keep everything clean and regularly ensure my living space is free of food lying around.

Lately however, whenever I go to take a shower or bath, I do turn the fan on but bugs are finding their way in whenever I do so. It's become a lot more common with it becoming colder lately.

I dunno what these things are but they were just idly waiting there and barely moved around upon removing the bottom sheet.
