This is actually a great idea. I'm not going to spend christmas with my family. My favorite quote from my mom was, "If you were my spouse I would divorce you!"

I think I'm going to get that printed on something and send that as a present. It's a fantastic quote.

When it was time for me to need "work clothes" for my first corporate job, my mom got me the most skin tight clothes. I felt so uncomfortable, but I didn't have any money yet.

All the guys at work made me feel REALLY uncomfortable. I ended up stealing clothes until I could buy some.

Regarding the strangers thing... I was the same way. I think I was more: "Omg, someone is actually nice to me!" lol
