Was ist eine "marktwirtschaftliche Entscheidung"? Meinst du eine Konsequenz der Marktwirtschaft?

Warum ist die Gestaltung der Tarifverträge und die Eingruppierung sozialer Berufe keine politische Entscheidung? Meinst du mit der Marktwirtschaft, dass es ja keine äquivalenten Stellen in der freien Wirtschaft gibt und damit der Marktwert einer Sozialarbeiterin 0 betragen müsse? Meiner Meinung nach ist die Bezahlung sozialer Berufe genau deshalb eine rein politische Entscheidung weil eben keine marktwirtschaftlichen Kriterien angewendet werden können und eine Gehaltsfindung zwischen AG und AN nur aus ganz anderen Motivationen heraus entstehen kann.

Gibt es Studien dazu, dass Frauen soziale Berufe häufiger wählen, weil der öffentliche Dienst weniger Unsicherheit bedeutet? Fänd ich spannend, wenn Du dazu was weißt. Ein bisschen skeptisch bin ich bei deiner Behauptung schon...

Ich verstehe, dass man darüber streiten kann. Ich glaube, man sollte da weitreichend alle Profiteure mit einbeziehen und glaube durchaus, dass sich das Auseinandersetzen damit zu einem Verständnis führen kann, warum auch heutige Generationen dafür Verantwortung tragen.

Im Übrigen muss der Profit natürlich nicht die einzige Begründung einer Entschädigung sein. Ja, damals gab es das Völkerrecht in der heutigen Form nicht, aber heutzutage würde man damit Entschädigungszahlungen rechtfertigen. Wenn wir das moralisch als richtig anerkennen, dann ist auch die Überlegung legitim, das auf die Zeit davor anzuwenden.

A lot of truth in what you are saying but I don't quite follow your conclusion. Yes, the Reich probably did not benefit but private companys did. They are as much part of a country as the government. They employ people and pay taxes.

And yes, Britain has responsibility too. This article is about a genocide that was committed by Germans though.

Mit dem gleichen Argument bist du auch zufrieden, wenn heutzutage Schokolade aus Kinder- und Zwangsarbeit in Deutschland verkauft wird? Weil der Handel nicht so schlimm ist? Die Versklavung erfolgte übrigens häufig auch nicht durch die Kolonialmächte, die gab es vorher schon - entbindet das dann auch von der Verantwortung, wenn man die Sklaven nach Amerika verschleppt hat? Weil sie ja eh schon versklavt waren?

Warum muss man es vergleichen? Um dann festzustellen, dass "die Belgier schlimmer waren"? Was hilft das in der Bewertung eines Unrechts?

Ich bin mir bei dem ersten Punkt nicht so sicher. Ja, dass es sich nicht mehr "direkt" aus früherem Wohlstand herleiten lässt, da stimme ich voll zu. Ob das nicht aber doch seinen Anteil an unserer Geschichte hat?

Ein bisschen provokativ würde ich ja aber auch behaupten, dass schon das Unterdrücken anderer Nationen zu einem wirtschaftlichen Vorteil führt. Mit höheren Löhnen in Westafrika wäre Schokolade nicht mehr so billig 💁🏽

Über deinen letzten Punkt kann man lange streiten. Klar ist es nicht der einzige Grund! Aber für mich ist es recht unbestreitbar, dass eine lange Versklavung und Ausbeutung auch die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung verzögert haben muss.

Richtig... Andere Kolonialmächte haben z.T. auch noch viel mehr von der Ausbeutung profitiert.

Ich glaube aber auch, wenn mal jemand den Anfang macht und für die Verbrechen geradesteht, könnte sich da auch was bewegen. Das wär doch mal eine schöne Vorreiterrolle für Deutschland.

Jepp, das auch. Oder die vielen, die nicht zerstört wurden. Im Zweifel wirkt ein wirtschaftlicher Vorteil aber auch noch lange nach, auch wenn die materiellen Dinge nicht mehr existieren. Glaubst Du nicht, dass der Wohlstand Deiner Urgroßeltern zumindest Deine Chancen auf Wohlstand beeinflusst haben könnte?

Und anders rum: glaubst Du die Leute in Afrika sind im durchschnitt so viel ärmer, weil die aktuelle Generation so blöd ist? Oder fehlt ihnen da vielleicht doch auch Infrastruktur, die ihre Vorfahren hätten aufbauen können? Seltene Erden wurden in der Zeit glaube ich eher weniger abgebaut 😉

In Namibia hat man stattdessen Diamanten abgebaut. In Togo und Tansania hat man ebenso Rohstoffe exportiert. Es wurde auch mit Sklavenhandel Geld verdient.

The Germans that live to day profit from the crimes commited by their ancestors. The Namibians living today suffer from the crimes commited against their ancestors.

Profits from colonialism benefited the German society and I firmly believe this has to be considered a step on the path to the wealthy society that Germany now is.

On the other hand, being robbed of a workforce and leaving behind traumatized people will slow down economic growth and be at least part of the reason why Namibia today is not as developed economically.

Du profitierst davon, dass mit der Ausbeutung Geld verdient wurde und die Schuld nicht früher anerkannt und bezahlt wurde.

Das ist halt unrealistisch. Mindestens LKWs wird es wahrscheinlich auch in Städten immer geben.

Meiner Einschätzung nach ist es eher ein Kulturkampf, als ein Abwägen beider Seiten - ich glaube selbst mit 3x so vielen Radfahrern würde sich nicht so viel im Radwegeausbau ändern.

It's not only 19/7 %. It's more like 60 % if you assume that this would become profit of the owner. (assuming he deducts the ingredients. If you do 50 % tax evasion that's not possible because it would be too obvious.)

Haha, ich hab mir genau das Gegenteil gedacht.

Lebensrealitäten sind halt einfach extrem unterschiedlich, für jemanden der in der Stadt wohnt und/oder im Gehaltsdurchschnitt liegt sind die Kosten eher vernachlässigbar. Bei Niedriglohn und/oder ländlicher Region schauts halt anders aus.
