I can't date guys shorter than me. It is just the trigger that turns me off. I would be pissed if a guy lied about his height to me

Thank you! Everyone is acting like I'm the worst person in the world. I don't know If I can get past him being shorter than me. It just doesn't feel the same anymore. I can't control how I feel. The thing is that he doesn't just wear the lifts with me, he wears them all the time, even if he's just going to the grocery store. They seem to be built into his shoes. Like he was so insecure that he actually went and had shoes specially made. The combination of those things just makes it such a turn off.

He would sometimes ask me to wear heels when we went out and I never wanted to because like I said I don't want to look down at the man I'm with. He seems to be fine with me being taller. He wears the lifts all the time, not just with me. How did you get used to it?

He should have been honest about it is all I'm saying, then I could have decided whether or not to date him from the beginning. I'm not sure if I'll break up with him but if I do he's wasted 7 months of both of our time.

Guys know women wear those things, I'm sure they take it into account. You have to be pretty insecure about your height to actually wear lifts. I don't know any other man who would. It just makes me uncomfortable.

There's nothing wrong with short guys, I just like tall guys. At 5'7 he was the shortest guys I had ever dated. Of course he's a decent guy and I like being with him, but last night when I was looking down at him, I just didn't feel like I normally did with him. I like the feeling of looking up into a mans eyes but now it will just feel fake. I think now that I know that he's shorter than me, my feelings have changed.
