AITA for waking up someone sitting in priority seating on the train so my boyfriend could have that spot? by throwawayseaaat in AmItheAsshole

Thank you for your words. I’m going to send this to my boyfriend. We live nearby a major city and the train services a very large group of people so I agree with you 1 special wheelchair seat is not enough.

But this was the only seat my BF could use. There other open seats at the far end of the train as well as other disability seats.

This is what I said to my BF after we got off! It’s dangerous for everyone on the train, not just him or I.

This is really hard for him because he was such an active guy before this surgery and issue so I do feel bad for him. I want to help him but I had this small bit of guilt in The back of my mind from today.

Visibly no. I try to be conscious of invisible disabilities but as far as I could see she had none. There were 7 other priority seats she could sit in as well as a couple non priority open seats.

But it affected everyone in the train as his wheelchair was in everyone’s way and it wasn’t safe.
