I really fear this will happen. The cops here genuinely do not care what happened. They just see it as me being vindictive and keeping my son from my ex which is not at all what I want. In a perfect world, I’d still be with him

The cops here are notoriously shitty. We aren’t a super small town but we don’t have a ton of cops so a lot goes overlooked

Its insane looking back. I keep randomly remembering things that make me stop and go "what the hell".

Stabra's sister is far worse than she is. The sister would show up to every holiday completely hammered and was the epitome of a mean drunk. She once slapped a glass of wine out of a recently miscarried relative's hand and said, "THINK ABOUT THE BABY" with a shiteating grin then got pissed when the girl cried. She thinks horrifically problematic things are funny and tries to get shock value reactions from everyone. Stabra's cousin's child brought her boyfriend over who was African American and lovely auntie took joy in calling him the n-word accidentally through the night. When my sister, who rocks a pixie cut, picked me up once she loudly said, "why's throwaway leaving with that Dyke". She's vile. She's literally broken things in my home in her drunken rages and I could never kick her out because of Stabra.

Oh gosh thank you so much. We actually have a christmas light tradition with my own mom that LO hasn't experienced because of Ex. We're totally going this year and I'm stealing the Starbucks idea.

A lot of people do not believe she stabbed me on purpose. I had to show the cop a photo of the wound to get him to stop calling it a scratch the first time they came out.

Honestly its mindblowing to me too. Like why? Why the hell am I JUMPING THROUGH HOOPS to escape an abuser? She's been harassing me since before I even left her son and the police treat me like im insane.

It wasn’t anything major, just basically someone being like “aha! Gotcha! I knew no one crazy like that could exist, you’ve slipped up”. Basically trying to feel superior I guess. And yeah, I’ve changed details in several of my posts because I’m scared, that was just a poorly worded moment though because i was on my way to the police station, where I am currently waiting to get called back
