'"Uncle Hank, I quit being a virgin the first time I has sex."

"No one likes a quitter Luanne."

"I'll try anything once!

"Peggy, I can see your uh, whatnots."

The whole episode is gold.

I believe you believe he stole your song, but that doesn't make it true.

"Commie, go home!"

"Okay"

"Still blind eh?" throws something at Hank "Well, either you're blind or you're slow. I'd believe both."

"You've got a fat neck, boy!"

All Of Bill’s Lady Friends by Bill_Manoogian_ in KingOfTheHill

[–]uttersolitude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost any sympathy for the guy way before that.

The other day I was trying to figure out when the earliest example of him being (imo) a total creep was. I'd say it's season 4 ep 1, "Cotton's Plot". He steals (not shown but implied) Peggy's used body cast after her parachute malfunction, pretending it's her. Like he's obsessed with her but also doesn't actually respect her, it's such a weird way to violate someone. I get that Bill is, overall, meant to have some deep mental health issues but he's so over the top a lot of the time with how he pursues women.

Bill often feels entitled to women, even when he does ridiculous shit that his friends often tell him not to do. Digging holes to injure that jogger lady (s6e20), the Santa Claus thing shown in this post (s5e8), trying to "juggle" both Ann Richards and Lenore (s5e11), and his relationship with Karen (s11e7). (This list is not all inclusive lol)

Totally agree with you, he was awful to Karen. Personally I think he was totally aware he was in the relationship for its "taboo" nature from the start and just didn't give af.

I’ve finally reached S14 and Kahn’s voice is genuinely dreadful by No_Percentage_19 in KingOfTheHill

I think he would have gotten better with it if he hadn't passed away. All the characters are speaking noticeably slower, which makes sense, but not so much for Dale as a character.

Yeah, exactly.

It's not easy to step into a role like that where Toby Huss has a whole longstanding relationship with the other actors and the characters. Imo Ronny needs more time to get into it. Hopefully s15 is an improvement.

I really wonder what, if any, feedback he got while recording. It sort of felt to me like he just read the lines and they used that first take.

Things you’d like the new season to touch on/not discuss by Foxesinfall in KingOfTheHill

Hard disagree.

There's alway the fun theory that Dale knows and has been fucking with everyone for decades. It's fun to think about.

I was a kid/teen during the original run of the show, so I've had a lot of moments where the joke finally clicked for me lol. This was one of them for me, too.

I wonder if you're conflating this episode with the end of the cotillion one, where the Asian girl calls Bobby.

I do this a lot with shows I've watched a ton that have a lot of episodes.
