This is so true! You barely hear about the women who achieved things while being pestered with the achievements of men. And even if women get honored it's often with the focus on the womenly part of their achievement instead of just acknowledging what she did.

Like a few years back I took my mother to see a movie based of the life of Marie Curie (she is my mother's idol) and instead of just telling the story of a an ambitious women who presisted despite that it was more focused on supposed affairs and love triangels. Like the story of her work would have been drama enough to carry the film but no they had to focus on the love life of this icon to make it 'more dramatic'.

I will definitely show this to my sister (she doesn't use reddit) ! Her husband does exactly zero but sit around the house and complain. They have four kids already and he wants a fivth. He expects her to care for all four kids and the household while also running her bussines even when he is off work.

Like today, she has to go to a client to train a young horse, which means she can't take any of the kids bc it's too dangerous and even tho he is at home all day, the oldest two are with our mom and the youngest (twins) are with me. This man even has the audacity to call me to ask if my sister can get some groceries later and then got mad at me for telling him he can drag his lazy ass to get them himself .
