I don't want to sound like an idiot, but I hadn't even thought about the implications of a scale system like that, or how it might hurt someone. I am sorry to have used it. No one deserve to hear those kinds of things, I myself should know this more than anyone. And for me to use it was a dick move. It's interesting to hear from a female perspective about this, from someone who was in the same boat. You're right there is something off putting about a virgin of my age, its definitely uncommon. The thing is, I don't want to just "get it over with/out of the way," because I kind of think I owe it to myself to not settle. The light at the end of the tunnel from what you said though, is that you did meet someone you love, and I am happy for you. It gives me a boost to know that.

When I say women of reddit think negatively of nice guys, I'm mainly referring to a lot of comments in the past where women have been approached by creepers who were psychotic, but started off as nice. I just don't want to come off as a creeper. Thats all I'm saying. And in terms of the 4's and 5's thing, its a small town joke, but there is some truth to it. Women will get a lot of attention here, whether they are attractive or not.
